Shot around the world over several years, this is to highlight the many lives and deaths of the famous Middle Eastern rugs, generally known as a "Kilim". Produced since ancient times, and without any significant foreign market influence, they are mainly made from wool, and, as you'll see from my images, the name translates as "to spread roughly", which seems about right.
