These were (before I played around) simple black Buddhas in a shrine in the middle of Bangkok. I really like them just lined up as they were, with slightly different positions. But I wanted to make a point. And the point came from rephotographing them from my computer screen. It gave me the juxtaposition of the serene and spiritual side of Buddhism, against the first world computer screens that we all see, perhaps too much. The screens also gave them some texture, and I then added colours. About 95% of Thailand is Buddhist, so these shrines appear commonly, but not quite as lovely, and hidden, as this one.
