So I was in a run of stores and galleries in Cartagena, a beautiful city in Colombia, when the coach loads of tourists from the American cruise ship came. I stayed. I photographed the spectacle. The biggest cruise ships can carry around 6,000 people, so I suppose I was lucky with only a few coaches ! Cruise ship stats are truly mind boggling, but here's a couple of lesser known ones. The average cruise ship produces around 175,000 gallons of sewage a week, and all the ships have a morgue big enough to hold 1-3 bodies !
